Across TCGA patient cohorts, CYBB protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 18,956 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible CYBB-associated genes across cancer lineages are CYTH4, CSF2RB, and SIRPB1. Each is linked with CYBB in more than 9 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both CYBB-to-partner and partner-to-CYBB results are reported.
