Across TCGA patient cohorts, CXCR4 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 1,867 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible CXCR4-associated genes across cancer lineages are NPIPA2, MSRB1P1, and NBEAP3. Each is linked with CXCR4 in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both CXCR4-to-partner and partner-to-CXCR4 results are reported.
