Across TCGA patient cohorts, CRYM protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 11,161 significant associations in total. LUAD shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible CRYM-associated genes across cancer lineages are NR3C2, VSIG2, and GNA14. Each is linked with CRYM in more than 4 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both CRYM-to-partner and partner-to-CRYM results are reported.
