Across TCGA patient cohorts, CMTR1 mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 59 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible CMTR1-associated genes across cancer lineages are eIF4E, Caspase-7-cleavedD198, and PRDX1. Each is linked with CMTR1 in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both CMTR1-to-partner and partner-to-CMTR1 results are reported.
