Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, CMTR1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 26 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated CMTR1 data layer compared with 4 for mutation status and 7 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher CMTR1 RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated CMTR1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRC and READ show a favorable association.
KIRC, READ, and COAD are the cancer types where CMTR1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
