Across TCGA patient cohorts, CMTM8 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 957 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible CMTM8-associated genes across cancer lineages are RNA5SP422, EIF4EBP1P1, and GLTPP1. Each is linked with CMTM8 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both CMTM8-to-partner and partner-to-CMTM8 results are reported.
