Across TCGA patient cohorts, CIITA mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 6,115 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible CIITA-associated genes across cancer lineages are NADK2, HMG20B, and AOC2. Each is linked with CIITA in more than 4 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both CIITA-to-partner and partner-to-CIITA results are reported.
