Across TCGA patient cohorts, CIITA mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 54 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible CIITA-associated genes across cancer lineages are C-Raf, Chk2_pT68, and JNK_pT183_Y185. Each is linked with CIITA in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both CIITA-to-partner and partner-to-CIITA results are reported.
