Across TCGA patient cohorts, CENPC protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 4,604 significant associations in total. BRCA shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible CENPC-associated genes across cancer lineages are FRMD4B, WLS, and WDFY2. Each is linked with CENPC in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both CENPC-to-partner and partner-to-CENPC results are reported.
