CASTOR2

mutation — cross-omics
Cross-omicsMUTATION → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA patient cohorts, CASTOR2 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 359 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible CASTOR2-associated genes across cancer lineages are FBXL12P1, MIR4694, and RN7SL248P. Each is linked with CASTOR2 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both CASTOR2-to-partner and partner-to-CASTOR2 results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, FBXL12P1 grouped by CASTOR2-low versus CASTOR2-high in BRCA.

mutation associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (CASTOR2→partner) and Y-score (partner→CASTOR2) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
