Across TCGA patient cohorts, CACTIN protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 14,415 significant associations in total. LSCC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible CACTIN-associated genes across cancer lineages are TGOLN2, OIP5, and FBL. Each is linked with CACTIN in more than 3 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both CACTIN-to-partner and partner-to-CACTIN results are reported.
