Across TCGA patient cohorts, C4A-AS1 RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 1,105 significant associations in total. LGG shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible C4A-AS1-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Regulation of apoptotic cell clearance, Positive regulation of apoptotic cell clearance, and Detection of external biotic stimulus. Each is linked with C4A-AS1 in more than 5 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both C4A-AS1-to-partner and partner-to-C4A-AS1 results are reported.
