Across TCGA patient cohorts, BRCA2 mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 90 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible BRCA2-associated genes across cancer lineages are ACVRL1, p70-S6K, and Caspase-7-cleavedD198. Each is linked with BRCA2 in more than 3 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both BRCA2-to-partner and partner-to-BRCA2 results are reported.
