BRCA1

mutation — cross-omics
Cross-omicsMUTATION → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA patient cohorts, BRCA1 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 3,376 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible BRCA1-associated genes across cancer lineages are PARP2, WDR74, and TYMSOS. Each is linked with BRCA1 in more than 4 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both BRCA1-to-partner and partner-to-BRCA1 results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, PARP2 grouped by BRCA1-low versus BRCA1-high in SKCM.

mutation associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (BRCA1→partner) and Y-score (partner→BRCA1) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
