Across TCGA patient cohorts, BMPER protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 4,270 significant associations in total. LSCC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible BMPER-associated genes across cancer lineages are CCM2L, RGCC, and TMC5. Each is linked with BMPER in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both BMPER-to-partner and partner-to-BMPER results are reported.
