Across TCGA cell cohorts, APOL4 RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 1,936 significant associations in total. BLOOD_Leukemia shows the largest number of these associations.
The most reproducible APOL4-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are CD8-positive, alpha-beta T cell differentiation, Regulation of protein localization to cell periphery, and Regulation of syncytium formation by plasma membrane fusion. Each is linked with APOL4 in more than 6 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both APOL4-to-partner and partner-to-APOL4 results are reported.
Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, CD8-positive, alpha-beta T cell differentiation grouped by APOL4-low versus APOL4-high in BREAST.
