APOL2

mutation — cross-omics
Cross-omicsMUTATION → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA patient cohorts, APOL2 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 647 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible APOL2-associated genes across cancer lineages are H2AC1, MIR514B, and CDKN2AIPNLP3. Each is linked with APOL2 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both APOL2-to-partner and partner-to-APOL2 results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, H2AC1 grouped by APOL2-low versus APOL2-high in SKCM.

mutation associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (APOL2→partner) and Y-score (partner→APOL2) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
