Across TCGA patient cohorts, APOE mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 32 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible APOE-associated genes across cancer lineages are PRAMEF28P, RN7SL820P, and USP9YP10. Each is linked with APOE in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both APOE-to-partner and partner-to-APOE results are reported.
