Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ANKRD20A19P RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 8 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of ANKRD20A19P’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.

The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where ANKRD20A19P RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types ANKRD20A19P is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as KICH show the opposite, repressed pattern.

COAD, BRCA, and THCA are the cancer types where ANKRD20A19P tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
