Across TCGA patient cohorts, ANKAR mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 43 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible ANKAR-associated genes across cancer lineages are p62 Lck ligand, Notch1, and PCNA. Each is linked with ANKAR in more than 3 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both ANKAR-to-partner and partner-to-ANKAR results are reported.
