Across TCGA patient cohorts, ALDH8A1 RNA expression is significantly associated with the protein abundance of many other proteins, with 10,350 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible ALDH8A1-associated proteins across cancer lineages are SH3BGRL2, AP2A1, and UPP1. Each is linked with ALDH8A1 in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both ALDH8A1-to-partner and partner-to-ALDH8A1 results are reported.
