Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ALDH3B1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ALDH3B1 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher ALDH3B1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ALDH3B1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LUSC and STAD are the cancer types where ALDH3B1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
