Across TCGA patient cohorts, ACSL4 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 19,862 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible ACSL4-associated genes across cancer lineages are ACSL5, CSF2RB, and SIRPB1. Each is linked with ACSL4 in more than 6 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both ACSL4-to-partner and partner-to-ACSL4 results are reported.
