Across TCGA patient cohorts, ACSL4 mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 52 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible ACSL4-associated genes across cancer lineages are eIF4E, ASNS, and ERK2. Each is linked with ACSL4 in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both ACSL4-to-partner and partner-to-ACSL4 results are reported.
