Terms of Service
Last updated: July 16, 2026
These terms govern your use of Q-omics (qomics.ai), operated by CBIS Co., Ltd. ("CBIS", "we", "us"), including its MCP connector for LLM clients such as Claude and ChatGPT. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.
1. The Service
Q-omics is a multi-omics analysis platform. Analyses are run against public research datasets (such as TCGA and GDSC2), which remain subject to their original providers' data use terms. You can access Q-omics through our website, or through its MCP connector, which lets an LLM client such as Claude or ChatGPT call Q-omics on your behalf via OAuth. Use the connector for querying these public datasets โ not for uploading private patient data or raw sequencing files.
2. Accounts, Devices, and API Keys
- You must provide accurate registration information and keep your credentials confidential.
- Licenses are bound to a single device at a time; you can move a license to a new device from the login page, which automatically invalidates it on the previous device.
- If you generate an API key to access Q-omics programmatically, you are responsible for keeping it confidential. You may revoke a key at any time from your account, and we may revoke a key if we detect misuse.
- If you connect Q-omics to an LLM client via MCP/OAuth, you may disconnect that authorization from your account at any time. You are responsible for activity performed by any LLM client you have authorized while the connection remains active.
3. Purchases, Licenses, Credits, and Refunds
Paid licenses are valid for one year from issuance. Some features consume usage credits associated with your plan; your remaining credits and usage history are shown in your account. If you subscribe through AWS Marketplace, your subscription, entitlements, and billing are also governed by AWS Marketplace's own terms. Refund and bank-transfer procedures are described in full in our Purchase & Refund Policy. Q-omics also offers a free trial of Premium Features.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these terms.
- Attempt to re-identify individuals from the public research datasets we analyze.
- Share, sell, or sublicense your account, license key, or API key to anyone else.
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or resell the service without our permission.
- Use the MCP connector to submit private patient data, raw sequencing files, or other data you are not authorized to share with a third-party LLM provider.
- Interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure, including attempts to exceed device or credit limits by circumventing our controls.
5. Not Medical Advice
Q-omics is a research and informational tool. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, or provide medical advice, and should not be relied on for clinical decisions.
6. Intellectual Property
The Q-omics platform, including its software, analysis tools, and the Q-omics MCP connector, is owned by CBIS. The underlying public datasets remain the property of, and subject to the terms of, their original providers. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Q-omics in accordance with these terms and your license type.
7. Third-Party Services
Q-omics relies on third-party services to operate, including Toss Payments for card payments, AWS Marketplace for subscription billing, and, when you use the MCP connector, the LLM provider (e.g. Anthropic, OpenAI) of your choice. Your use of those third-party services is also subject to their own terms.
8. Service Availability
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service โ including specific analyses, datasets, or MCP tools โ at any time, and do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including as to the accuracy or completeness of any analysis results.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, CBIS is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account, license, or API keys for violation of these terms. You may stop using the service and close your account at any time.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
13. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
