Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ZYX Mutation is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ZYX data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), where higher ZYX Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ZYX expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BLCA show a favorable association.
BRCA, LIHC, and BLCA are the cancer types where ZYX Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
