Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ZYG11A RNA is linked to patient survival in 23 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated ZYG11A data layer compared with 2 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher ZYG11A RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ZYG11A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and SCLC show a favorable association.

HNSC, ACC, and SCLC are the cancer types where ZYG11A RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
