Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ZSCAN5B Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ZSCAN5B data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher ZSCAN5B Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ZSCAN5B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as STAD show a favorable association.
BLCA, SARC, and PRAD are the cancer types where ZSCAN5B Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
