Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ZSCAN2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ZSCAN2 data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in ovarian serous cystadenocarcinoma (OV), where higher ZSCAN2 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ZSCAN2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
OV, LUAD, and LIHC are the cancer types where ZSCAN2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
