Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ZNF808 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ZNF808 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 9 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LSCC), where higher ZNF808 mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ZNF808 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LSCC are the cancer types where ZNF808 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
