Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ZNF784 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ZNF784 data layer compared with 19 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher ZNF784 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ZNF784 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LSCC and GBM show a favorable association.

HNSC, LSCC, and LUAD are the cancer types where ZNF784 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
