Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ZNF778 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ZNF778 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher ZNF778 Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ZNF778 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and SKCM show a favorable association.
UCEC, KIRP, and LUSC are the cancer types where ZNF778 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
