Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ZNF622 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ZNF622 data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC), where higher ZNF622 mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ZNF622 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as PDAC show a favorable association.
CCRCC, GBM, and PDAC are the cancer types where ZNF622 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
