Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ZNF581 RNA is linked to patient survival in 28 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated ZNF581 data layer compared with 5 for mutation status and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uveal melanoma (UVM), where higher ZNF581 RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ZNF581 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UVM and GBM show a favorable association.
UVM, ACC, and LIHC are the cancer types where ZNF581 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
