Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ZNF517 RNA is linked to patient survival in 24 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated ZNF517 data layer compared with 6 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in small cell lung cancer (SCLC), where higher ZNF517 RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ZNF517 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SCLC and PAAD show a favorable association.
SCLC, KIRC, and COAD are the cancer types where ZNF517 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
