Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ZNF512B RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 9 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of ZNF512B’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.

The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where ZNF512B RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types ZNF512B is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as THCA and COAD show the opposite, repressed pattern.

LIHC, THCA, and KIRC are the cancer types where ZNF512B tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
