Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ZNF436 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ZNF436 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher ZNF436 Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ZNF436 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BLCA and SKCM show a favorable association.

BLCA, LUAD, and PRAD are the cancer types where ZNF436 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
