Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ZNF423 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ZNF423 data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher ZNF423 mass-spec protein is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ZNF423 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and PDAC show a favorable association.
UCEC, PDAC, and LUAD are the cancer types where ZNF423 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
