Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ZNF417 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ZNF417 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where higher ZNF417 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ZNF417 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
STAD, UCEC, and LIHC are the cancer types where ZNF417 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
