Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ZNF280D RNA is linked to patient survival in 30 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated ZNF280D data layer compared with 4 for mutation status and 4 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher ZNF280D RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ZNF280D expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRC and BRCA show a favorable association.

KIRC, ACC, and UVM are the cancer types where ZNF280D RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
