Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ZNF280D mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ZNF280D data layer compared with 30 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher ZNF280D mass-spec protein is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ZNF280D expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD and GBM show a favorable association.

LUAD, GBM, and CCRCC are the cancer types where ZNF280D mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
