Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ZNF280C Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ZNF280C data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher ZNF280C Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ZNF280C expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and READ show a favorable association.
UCEC, LUAD, and SCLC are the cancer types where ZNF280C Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
