Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ZNF208 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 8 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ZNF208 data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), where higher ZNF208 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ZNF208 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and LUAD show a favorable association.

ESCA, UCEC, and LIHC are the cancer types where ZNF208 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
