Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ZNF114 RNA is linked to patient survival in 25 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated ZNF114 data layer compared with 2 for mutation status and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher ZNF114 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ZNF114 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LAML and THYM show a favorable association.
HNSC, MESO, and SKCM are the cancer types where ZNF114 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
