Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ZMYM2 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ZMYM2 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher ZMYM2 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ZMYM2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LSCC and GBM show a favorable association.

HNSC, COAD, and CCRCC are the cancer types where ZMYM2 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
