Across TCGA patient cohorts, ZIC5 mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 45 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible ZIC5-associated genes across cancer lineages are p62 Lck ligand, TFRC, and 4E-BP1. Each is linked with ZIC5 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both ZIC5-to-partner and partner-to-ZIC5 results are reported.
