ZIC4

Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ZIC4 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 11 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ZIC4 data layer compared with 18 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher ZIC4 Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ZIC4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and LUAD show a favorable association.

UCEC, KIRC, and SKCM are the cancer types where ZIC4 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
