Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ZHX1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ZHX1 data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher ZHX1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ZHX1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
KIRC, UCEC, and LUSC are the cancer types where ZHX1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
