Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ZFYVE28 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ZFYVE28 data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 10 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LSCC), where higher ZFYVE28 mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ZFYVE28 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LSCC and LUAD are the cancer types where ZFYVE28 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
