Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ZDHHC7 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ZDHHC7 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in cervical squamous cell carcinoma and endocervical adenocarcinoma (CESC), where higher ZDHHC7 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ZDHHC7 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
CESC, SKCM, and PRAD are the cancer types where ZDHHC7 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
